Software that changes lifes, fast

Hi, I'm Ticiano Morvan, a college student and full-stack software developer based in Argentina.

Work together

Build software that people cares about

Because people have problems, and we must provide solutions

People in this world are moving fast, faster than we can even imagine or gather from data. With this in mind, as a software developer, I believe in the good impact of a well-crafted, efficient and easy to use software that can meet people's expectations and help them solve their daily problems.

Build software focusing on the problem, not the tools

It doesn't matter what we use, it matters how we use it.

A lot of times we spend hours, days and even weeks trying to find the perfect language, framework or tool for the job, but people doesn't really care about all that. They need to fix their problems, as soon as posible, and is our responsability to build the best software we can with the tools we have at our hands.

Build software and learn in the process

No one was born with knowledge.

Practice makes perfection, and that's a fact. But we can't say that reading some books, watching some videos or many others resources won't help you to get better at something. I, as a self-taught software developer that is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, I can say that I had a lot of help from traditional education in my life.

Build software that moves the market

Companies aren't always an evil thing

Many people have the wrong general idea of corporations, and well, in a lot of cases it's not that far away from the truth. But in my experience, many companies have a great mission and need talent to build the next big thing to improve quality of life in our society.

Experience

Software Development Lead @ DEX

(Oct 2023 - Currently)

Remote, USA.

I'm a core mantainer and major responsible of our technical infrastructure. I was able to reduce our infrastructure costs by 60% in just three months, automatized deployment workflow reducing 66% of the time to build and deploy new features. I built a complete SaaS product from scratch that got #11 product of the day at ProductHunt.

Full-stack developer @ CrESI

(Dec 2022 - Oct 2023)

Remote, Argentina.

I manage technical requirements and the digital ecosystem of CrESI. I improved our principal website by rewriting it using Next.js 13 and gave it a whole new interface and user experience that has helped more than 3.000 people to understand and learn about sexual and emotional education by playing trivia quizzes and reading educative materials.

Impact

In more than three years of programming, I've had some interesting experiences to showcase.

Web Summit Rio

This was the first event I attended, as well as the first event alongside CrESI. We participated as an Impact Startup of their ALPHA Startup Programme. I talked with a lot of people from all over the world but specially brazilians, who were very interested in our work and congratulated us for being pioneers in the LATAM market.

Leading an unexplored market

As days were passing and I was talking to more and more people, I discovered that we were trying to shine in a market with very few or no real competitors, because we work on a topic that is considered a "taboo". This, of course, made me very happy and motivated to keep working on better solutions and to make CrESI spread worldwide.
